#AuthenticThaiFood #RecommendedbySollyDJ Definitely recommend this place to all. Ended up chatting with the hostess and the chef came up to say hi as we wanted to compliment her on the food. Unlike other places that have anglicised versions of Thai food, this was pretty good and made less spicy as per our request. Recommend the Green curry, pad Thai, Tomkha soup and can’t decide which starter we liked more but my favourite was the prawns tempura. Will definitely go back.

We had a cute little table by the window. Great food, great service, very friendly staff. We spent about £50 for 4 drinks, starter, Main and side. I'll definitely be back xx

Excellent. Recommended to eat here by a neighbouring business owner and we were not disappointed. The restaurant had a very pleasant ambience. We made a reservation, which we were pleased about, as it was busy. A must do. Our welcome was warm and with a lovely smile. After a short while, we ordered tiger beers and our meals. I had chicken satay, which was fresh and tasty and my Husband had Tom Yum with chicken, he said it was the best he's ever had! There was a short break between courses. Our mains were Pad Kee Mao with pork and Pad Prik Gang with chicken, accompanied by egg fried rice. Both were well presented, deliciously spicy too. We look forward to returning soon and certainly will on our next trip to Scarborough.

Visiting Scarborough for a holiday, and after a few days wanted something other than fish and chips and pub food. The food at Thai Orchid is seriously delicious, and we all eat quite a lot of Asian food. This place is way up there with some of the nicest Thai food we’ve eaten. Chilled and relaxed atmosphere, family vibe, friendly staff, unpretentious, affordable. We would definitely go back!

The food here is fantastic. I started with chicken satay which are is the best I have ever had. Then I followed this with massaman curry. The sauce was so delicious I could have taken a bucket of it home with me. The staff were very nice. Will definitely go to this restaurant again when I am in Scarborough.
